God’s Tremendous Love For You – For Us

God’s Tremendous Love For You – For Us

As I awoke this morning the following thoughts captivated my thinking. “Many of our congregation at Jackson Street Baptist has suffered, may be suffering, or most likely will suffer from one thing or another this year or in the coming years, it is the way of life. None of us will escape whatever it is that will come our way.” As I was pondering these things I opened my computer and the first that caught my eye was this message from Jack Hibbs.

[God’s tremendous love manifested itself in sacrificing His only Son for us. What power or force could possibly cause us to be separated from that love? Nothing! Death cannot, nor the allurements of this life. Devilish entities can try, but Jesus broke their power at the cross. It is true that circumstances may separate us from our possessions, and conflict could break the bonds of families. But despite any separation we experience on earth, we are eternally secure in Jesus, who died for us].  Jack Hibbs

Thus I thought I would pass along Jack’s encouragement to all who  follow the Berean Outreach. None of us are comfortable with many of the circumstances that come our way. Pain and suffering are pain and suffering.  But we have the promise of a blessed future. The apostle John himself suffered many things encourages us with these words: 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:3-4).

In the interim, God is conforming us into persons fit for that glorious future and His dwelling with us.

Steve
